Man if there was ever a race I wished was on a livestream it’d be this one. Sadly, we didn’t get to finish as well as would’ve liked but everything was there. The strategy, the crew, the drivers, we had it all. Then the rain came in and I said, “Let’s make the change to the wet tire” and I was in a different world, was giving the faster class cars the Spec-Miata treatment and no one had an answer for me. Sadly, the car couldn’t make it to the finish but we made tremendous progress this past weekend.
I wanna thank everyone from @openthrottletrackdays for this past weekend. I wanted to win for them so badly, they absolutely deserve it and more. I told the owner Mike, if it ever came down to it, I’d fight for a world title if I have to. These guys are amazing and I can’t thank them enough. It’s a tough loss but one that gives hope because we were doing so well during the race. Very thankful and proud to have these guys in my corner.
Next race is in Utah over at Utah Motorsport Campus, already found it on Assetto Corsa so I’m already practicing for it as we speak. We’re now second in national championship, the fight isn’t over yet, we still have a chance to take the big one home with 4 races to go. Until then, take care everyone!
