This race was sort of a last minute decision but turned out to be one that was really needed for the future since it was a shakedown. It’s been almost two years since we’ve done a Spec-Miata race so we wanted to be see how the car was doing as we’re aiming to do compete in Spec-Miata again in 2026. Big thanks to @planetmiata for the support this weekend

First time going out to NJMP too. The track is really nice and I see why a lot of people like the track. I have a feeling I’ll be coming here often. Finishing 6th and 7th whilst fighting close to the top five is a pretty good start. It’s different from the E92 but it is meaningful to come back to Spec-Miata after some time away.

The next race is down in Georgia for WRL at Road Atlanta, July 25-27. It is a spectator event so if you’re in the area and wanna see some endurance racing, you are more than welcome to tag along and watch. Until then, take care everyone!
